Library Procedures

Library Hours

The Washington library is open from 7:45 until 2:50 daily. Students are scheduled to visit the library with their literature teachers every other week for regular library checkout and library lessons. Students also visit the library with other content classes for projects, research, etc. In addition, students are always welcome to visit the library with a pass from a teacher.

Library Procedures
All students are encouraged to take advantage of our wonderful library resources which include books, ebooks, and audiobooks. Students may check out up to five items at a time, and all materials are checked out for a three week loan period. Library books may be renewed on or before the scheduled due date.  Books overdue for 30 or more days will be marked as lost.  Students must return or pay for lost items before they can check out new materials.
